Founded in 1928 by Alfred and Grace Jacobsen, we have been at this location (corner of New York Avenue and Pulaski) since 1932. A picture and history of Jacobsen Funeral Home was featured in Alfred Sforza's book - "Portrait of a Small Town."

We are pleased to provide you and your loved ones with the following:

24 hour services, 7 days a week, 365 days a year
Serving Catholic and Protestant Faiths as well as all others
Pre-arranged funerals
Prepaid funerals for Medicaid approved
Cremation
Shipping services to and from NY
Children's Activity Room
Handicapped accessible facilities
Knowledgeable, professional staff

To better serve our families, we have recently added a children's room to our facilities. It features large stuffed animals and toys, as well as a television, VCR and DVD.

We are conveniently located on New York Avenue (110) at the corner of Pulaski Road. If arriving via the LIE, take Exit 49N and continue on 110 north, crossing over 25 (Jericho Turnpike). At the 9th traffic light or approximately 1.5 miles, you will see our building on the right side of the road. If coming via the Northern State, take Exit 40N and on the Southern State, take Exit 32N. An alternative means to getting to Jacobsen's is the LIRR since we are located 1/4 mile south of the Huntington train station. Taxi service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
