Christine Maryse LaMarca, 56, of Huntington Station, New York, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Christine was proudly an “Army brat,” raised in various places across the United States, including Texas, Hawaii, and Washington State. Her life journey took her through many landscapes, each one helping shape the vibrant, loving person she became. Christine lived with special needs, but it never defined her. Her joy, kindness, and remarkable ability to connect with others and make them smile, were what truly made her unforgettable. She had a way of making everyone feel important and deeply loved. As her family says, “She made everyone feel like her favorite, because they were.” Her sense of humor and zest for life were unforgettable. Though she was, by all accounts, a terrible singer, Christine never let that stop her from belting out a tune. If a great song came on, she would light up the room with an impromptu serenade, leaving everyone smiling. Among her many cherished relationships, the bond Christine shared with her Aunt Lisette was something truly special. The two were inseparable in heart and spirit, often joking that they’d grow old together rocking on the front porch, playfully yelling at Lisette’s grandchildren. Their love for one another was fierce, funny, and unwavering—a joy to witness and an inspiration to those around them. Christine is survived by her devoted father, Gregory R. LaMarca, and her beloved brother, Joseph T. LaMarca and her sister-in-law, Cathy LaMarca. She was a proud and loving aunt to Samantha, Jack and Liam LaMarca. Her extended family held a special place in her heart, including her aunts and uncles: Lisette and Patrick Leat, Joseph L. and Katherine LaMarca, Marsha LaMarca, Anthony T. LaMarca, Linda and Michael Grasso. She is also remembered with love and adoration by her many cousins: Christopher, Emily, Julia, Olivia, Patrick, Sophia, Mikael, Jolie, Lloyd, Eric, Alixe, Andrew, Isabella, Michaela, John-Michael & her baby cousin Margot. Her wonderful Nichols family, including Nancy, Monica, Alexis, Lisa, Andrie, Dominique, Marilyn, Iris, Marie & Katie. Her beloved housemates: Jamie, Angie, Marcie, Laura, Christopher, Paul & Kerry. Christine’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and kindness. She had a way of filling any room with joy, and her absence leaves a profound void in the lives of all who knew her.
