Tracy Mora

Tracy Paul Mora, August 13, 2010, formerly of Melville NY died at home in Heth, AR. He was the beloved husband of Deborah Verma and the treasured step-father of Shawn and Sara Verma. This gentle, patient spirit was brought into this world by his loving parents, Mary Ann and Carl Mora. He is also survived by his beloved brother (and band member) Scott Mora and precious sister Melody Mora. Tracy was treasured by all his friends and family, he was a man who loved everyone and made them all feel special each in their own unique way. He was an accomplished guitarist and band member, as well as a creative song writer. His music and song lifted us up and was his gift to his family, friends ... he sang from his heart and his faith in God. Beloved member of the Sweet Hollow Presbyterian choir and church. Trace was a loving parent to Shawn and Sara supporting them in all they do and he dreamed such big dreams for them. Our house was always full of their friends and he treated every child as his own. He was Shawn's biggest fan in all his sports activities. He treasured every moment of watching Sara grow into a young woman and took so much pride in her. They were his world and they made him feel complete. He was a loyal, faithful friend/worker and treasured all his co-workers at CBIZ, Corinthian and Janow. Trace loved to travel and learn ... some of our favorite moments were to stop and appreciate the simple things in life ... wind in the trees, birdsong, thunder and lightening and he loved the water whether it was a lake, a river or the ocean. One of his favorite times was the early morning sitting at our pool in Melville with our dog Shelby laying on the ground next to him having his coffee and listening to the birds ... he thought that was his place of peace and serenity. Funeral Services will be held at A. L. Jacobsen Funeral Home, 1380 New York Avenue, Huntington Station, NY 11746 with viewings on Saturday, August 21st from 1-3:00 pm and 5-7:00 pm with a Celebration service held at Sweet Hollow Presbyterian Church, 95 Old Country Road, Melville, NY 11747 at 4:00 pm to celebrate his life and music.
